People don’t want to purchase Cool Whip but they appear to love whipped topping that is sold in tubs. Why?
The calories, fat, and sugar content of each of these alternatives is the same, but the price of those that aren’t Cool Whip is about twice as high.
Healthy Whipped Cream Recipe
Pour over any dessert, including pies, cakes, brownies, ice cream, or berries. Or perhaps bring some coffee! Put it in pretty much anything you like.
Additionally, you can add your preferred flavor, such as classic vanilla, amaretto, bourbon, or lemon, to name a few.
Consider adding a flavor tinge to go with your dessert, using your imagination. If you have a sugar, protein, or gluten sensitivity, make sure to check the ingredients first.
Ingredients In Cool Whip
Water, hydrogenated vegetable oil, high fructose corn syrup, corn syrup, skim milk, light cream (less than 2%), sodium caseinate, natural and artificial flavor, xanthan and guar gums, polysorbate 60, sorbitan monostearate, sodium polyphosphate, and beta carotene (as a coloring) are the main ingredients in Cool Whip Original.
As if that ingredient list weren’t troubling enough, I’m genuinely scratching my head over the last one: beta carotene (as coloring). Doesn’t it seem strange that they needed to add a color to make cool whip white? ‘Cause it shouldn’t!
It should go without saying that 90% of the ingredients in Cool Whip are completely toxic to human beings; after all, it’s pretty obvious, right?

How To Make Homemade Whipped Cream
You will probably never find a recipe as simple to prepare as this one. Start by adding the heavy cream, stevia (or powdered sugar), and flavoring of choice to your mixing bowl.
For the ideal consistency, use a medium-high setting on an electric mixer. approximately 3-4 minutes. Be on the lookout for rounded or angular peaks. Your choice.
A long beating session will result in the creation of butter, so be careful. That’s not entirely bad, it’s just probably not what you were going for.
If whipping by hand, whisk just until the cream forms the desired soft or stiff peaks. You now have it; enjoy!

Whipping Cream V.s. Heavy Whipping Cream
What distinguishes whipping cream from heavy cream? It has less butterfat than whipping cream. It won’t whip as well as heavy whipping cream, which has more butterfat.
Look for brands that have pure cream and no fillers, 36 percent butterfat (not 30%), when reading the labels.
Even in your favorite desserts, heavy cream or heavy whipping cream will maintain its shape longer. If you can find organic cream, pick that instead. The consistency is softer and fluffier than the standard stuff.
